FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What do I do with my pNFT?

You are, of course, welcome to hold onto it and keep it in your NFT collection.  However, if you want to unlock the full power of these NFTs, you can put them up for sale on the open market.  A percentage of each and every sale will be sent directly back to StreetCode forever!

What is your royalty percentage? Why?

Most NFT royalties are set somewhere between 5-10%, but our pNFT royalty is set to 90%.  This means that 90% of the sale price will automatically be sent right back to StreetCode.  Not only does this provide greater benefit to our organization, but it allows the buyer to write off 90% of the purchase price (instead of the standard 5-10%).  As the seller, you will receive 10% of the sale minus any platform fees – taxed as ordinary income.  For example, if your pNFT sells for $10,000, StreetCode will instantly receive $9,000 (before fees), and you will receive $1,000 (before fees).

Which blockchain are you using to mint the pNFTs?

For maximum transferability, we’re using the Ethereum blockchain.

How do I put my pNFT up for sale?

There are many different NFT marketplaces, but Mintable is very user friendly.  The steps are as follows:

  1. Navigate to www.mintable.app
  2. Create an account
  3. Connect your Metamask wallet
  4. View the contents of your wallet by navigating to https://mintable.app/profile/my-wallet
  5. Look for your pNFT listed under “My NFTs”
  6. Click the purple “Sell” button underneath your pNFT
  7. On the next screen, fill out the listing information and set your price

Click “List This Item” and you’re done!  If you have any trouble, just let me know (dj@streetcode.org).

I received a pNFT. How do I download my Zoom background?

For simplicity, we’ll again be using Mintable to complete this process.

  1. Navigate to www.mintable.app
  2. Create an account
  3. Connect your Metamask wallet
  4. View the contents of your wallet by navigating to https://mintable.app/profile/my-wallet
  5. Look for your pNFT listed under “My NFTs”
  6. Click the purple “Download” button underneath your pNFT
  7. Click “Sign” on both of the popups that follow

Once complete, a new window will open containing your new Zoom background!  Right-click on the image and save it to your computer.  If you have any trouble, just let me know (dj@streetcode.org).

If I sell my pNFT, will I still be able to use the Zoom background?

Absolutely!  The Zoom background is just an image file, which you can download to your computer.  Once downloaded, you’ll always have it.

I have more questions, what should I do?

Email me! (dj@streetcode.org)  You are also welcome to book time on my calendar using this link.  I’d be happy to answer any questions that I can : )
