Details
**LOCAL TO BAY AREA RESIDENTS ONLY - We will be dropping off class materials to students!** Are you ready to take your engineering design skills to the next level? Good, because your community needs your help now! In Community Engineering students will work on a real-world issue with a team of peer-engineers, mentors, and an instructor to break down the problem and prototype a solution. Students in this course will develop life skills and a sense of civic responsibility, learn how to support communities, understand the field of engineering design, and solve problems impacting society. The goal of this course is for students to put their engineering design skills to practice, build excitement for engineering design, and walk away with a hands-on resume experience working as a community engineer.
