MacBook-How to Setup an iCloud Account

iCloud is useful for storing essential data, like contacts, photos, calendars, purchase history, messages, etc. If you have multiple apple devices, this can help keep all of your information in a safe place. 

 

  1. Go to the apple icon on the top right corner and click System Preferences.

  2. Click on Internet Accounts and select iCloud on the left side.

  3. If you are asked to enter your Apple ID, please do so.

4. Click on the box next to the email.

5. You will be asked to type your desired email name. There is also a little arrow pointing down next to the name with a list of name options.

6. Then click OK and then click on Create.
