This course is designed for middle school and high school students who want to use AI responsibly and effectively to support their passions and improve their schoolwork.
Students will learn how to use leading AI tools—such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Google Gemini—as smart study partners, and will even have the option to bring their homework and class assignments to StreetCode where they will learn how to create their own personalized AI tutor, tailored to their subjects, learning style, and goals.
Throughout the course, students will use AI to explore an interest of their choosing and develop it into a real‑world project.
As they move through the process, they will research ideas, generate plans, and solve problems with the support of AI tools. Students (and parents!) can make a project that’s creative and applicable outside the classroom like a movie, website, game or even a side-business.
Parents are welcome to attend and learn alongside their students, gaining insight into how these tools can be used thoughtfully to support learning at school and at home.
