The Level Up initiative

Since our Level Up program launched in 2020, StreetCode has empowered more than 400 Bay Area families in need with free rental laptops for work, school, and connection.

We are raising $2.5M to continue providing thousands more local households with access to free tech devices and tech education to unlock innovation. Join the movement!

Level Up services

StreetCode’s Level Up program accepts donated laptops and tech devices, refurbishes them, and distributes them as 1-year device rentals to local Bay Area families in need of computers or internet.

our impact and goals

StreetCode Academy has been closing the digital divide by providing free technology classes to over 5,500 students throughout Silicon Valley since 2014.

Today in the heart of Silicon Valley, our community of San Mateo County has over 9,000 households with no computers at all – nearly half of them are Black or Latino. Our plan is to provide the tools, support and engagement our community needs so they can build a better future for themselves.
