This class is for students who are familiar with Roblox Studio, e.g. from taking Game Design I or from learning the basics from a getting started tutorial like this one. Along the way, students will learn about the different types of fun that games can have that appeal to different people, how their favorite games design for each type, and how to design for them in their own games. Students will learn how to create their own game world, bring their game to life with scripting, and even to monetize their game to make money! Our goal is for students to walk away from the class with an increased understanding of video games, how they are made, a game of their own, and an increased passion for game design and design in general.
