Through a series of fun and engaging lessons, children will learn how to use the various brushes, layers, and effects in Procreate to create their own digital art pieces.

They will also learn about color theory and composition to help them create visually appealing works of art. By the end of the class, students will have gained valuable skills in digital art creation and be able to use Procreate more confidently and creatively. iPads will be available for use during the class.

In our Web & App Design course, unlock your creative potential without needing a tech background. Students will learn how to design apps and think about the user experience using Figma, a popular design tool. The class will push students to develop storytelling, researching, and prototyping skills in design. While this class does not teach coding, it lays the foundation for understanding the fundamentals used in web and app design, focusing on the design process for computer apps, mobile apps, and apps for consoles like Instagram and Spotify. This course offers the guidance and excitement to explore the world of design.

Jr. Game Development helps students learn programming through game making! We use the Scratch environment to help make engaging and interactive games and experiences. Students draw from their creativity and imagination to create concrete and captivating games, and have fun doing it. Students explore the different skills needed to develop their own interactive games and experiences, including basic programming concepts, art and animation, and story design and development.

In this class, students will dive into the world of technology through digital art and storytelling. Using kid-friendly websites and apps, young artists will learn how to create and animate their own digital masterpieces. Through fun and engaging lessons, students will explore block-based coding to bring their stories to life. Our young "Design Detectives" will also enhance their computer literacy, reading, and writing skills while unleashing their creativity. In this class, we’ll cover the ideation and product development stages as well as initial exposure to marketing, sales, KPI measurement, and the economics behind investment.
